Leland Klassen has toured all over the world in his nearly 30 years in stand-up comedy. In that time, he has done every major Canadian television show and festival including Just For Laughs, Winnipeg Comedy Festival and CBC television’s Halifax Comedy Festival as well as CBC Radio’s Debaters. Leland has also appeared on every major clean comedy project in America from shows like Bananas, The Huckabee Show, Thou Shalt Laugh on Netflix and the social media sensation DRY BAR COMEDY which has received millions of views for Leland’s work to date. He was featured in the Vice documentary series FUNNY HOW? along with comedians David Cross and Pete Holmes.
He also hosted a nationally syndicated television show called Popcorn TV, which featured one hundred and seventy episodes and aired internationally. Recently Leland has got into acting, beginning with the lead role in the movie EXTRAORDINARY and then writing and starring in the award-winning action-comedy SLEEPER AGENT. HIs most recent starring role was in the yet to be released movie EMPTY NETS. A first century Galilean comedy. With more movies on the way, Leland is making a conscious effort to continue to perform his first love, stand-up comedy.
