
Shari Rigby, a multifaceted talent recognized for her impactful contributions to faith and family inspirational entertainment. Best known for her compelling performances in Overcomer, October Baby, Not Today, Wildflower, and The Least of These, Shari is a leading figure in faith-based cinema. Her journey from accomplished actress to adept director has earned her a reputation as an actor’s director, marked by a strong background of well-crafted screen performances.
Shari recently starred in and directed County Rescue, Season Two, streaming on Great American Family and Great American Pure Flix. Along with the award-winning feature film Divine Influencer, starring Lara Silva from The Chosen, as well as teen girl film Identity Crisis. She played a pivotal role in directing scenes for Overcomer and the Kendrick Brothers film LifeMark. Additionally, Shari has made significant contributions to television, serving as an executive producer, director, and writer for 20 episodes of the Dream Center Los Angeles series on Daystar.
Currently, Shari and her creative partner, Claire Yorita Lee, run Beautifully Flawed Productions and have multiple projects for film and television in various stages of development. Shari and Claire also co-wrote the online devotional for the re-release of FOX’s The Passion of the Christ and co-wrote Shari’s autobiography, Beautifully Flawed, published in March 2015. Her latest release, Consider the Lilies: 40-Day Devotional: Find Purpose In An Ever-Changing Culture, hit the shelves and audio in April 2022.
Shari has spent the last several decades following God’s mandate to minister to His women. She formed The Women In My World in 2010, and it gained non-profit status in 2021 due to the need to financially support Christian women with educational resources, focusing on mentoring, discipling, and cultivating women of faith to influence culture by using their talents and gifts to create God-honoring content in entertainment, media, and business.
